I don't really like or dislike either one. I preferred Marv when he had his classic Kree uniform and was a spy on earth...I was indifferent to him being a hero, his death etc. I liked Carol's black costume look...I've never liked her other looks. I think the Carol I liked died when Marcus Immortus raped her and Rogue stole her memories...the Carol I remember never came back IMO. I was enjoying her on the Avengers until the Marcus stuff.

I'm pushing 40. But yeah I have to admit Mar-Vell was a bit before my time. I've gone back and read his original series though. I really liked that first year or so when he was a spy on earth...but that's not the stuff typical Mar-Vell fans like about him. They like the costume change and him meeting Eon and fighting Thanos and meeting the Titan eternals. I liked him but for the wrong reasons I guess. The part everyone else found boring (that first year or so) I really liked. His original Kree costume is kind of Buzz Lightyear-esque and I liked it.
