So, when Waid left, I left and I skipped the whole Johns run. Now that Waid's back, I'm wondering about picking up those 8 Johns TPBs. Were they any good? Or skipable?

Thanks!
Shawn
PS Very excited Mark's back!

It is one of my favorite runs ever! I am sure there are some that will say I am wrong but I think it is great. I have a couple of runs I reread a lot, Walter Simonson's "Thor," Frank Miller's "Daredevil" and Geoff John's "Flash."

I love Waid's work, I think his run on "Fantastic Four" was/is some of the best, I am rereading it right now. I can't wait to read this new series.

I have looked at the Johns issues and they are expensive, relatively speaking. A few of the trades are a little pricey too.
