His "muddy" style just doesn't fit a superhero book. His style would be better suited for horror or detective stories. > > We were all hoping for a return of "Flash" stories with Wally but instead got Wally and his family of freaks. Check out the cover to November's issue in DC's solicitations to see what I mean. > > http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=11667 > > What a disappointment. Yuck. Wally has kids. I was thinking of trying this series but never mind. The last thing I want to read about is Wally as a dad. As for the comparisons with the Fantastic Four, well, I don't buy that comic, and one of the reasons is that Reed and Sue have kids. As for the Incredibles, well, DC should publish an Incredibles comic. I wouldn't buy it because it has parents and kids in it. But somebody might buy it. I like Power Pack but that comic focuses on the kids with barely any mention of the parents, who don't even know the kids have powers. I hate comics about parents. Runaways is cool too. The parents are dead and were evil any way. Comics about heroes being parents. Yuck. Family sitcoms with powers. I hate family sitcoms. | |||||||
