I read Geoff Johns's most recent run on THE FLASH, but skipped Flashpoint. In his run on he regular title, the Rogues discovered a giat mirror left by the original Mirror Master, yet that point was never resolved in the book. Was anything done with that in FLASHPOINT?

The story had a character from the future claim that the mirror would "infect" Iris and turn her into a villain whom Barry would eventually be forced to kill. Later, however, that character turned out to be lying about some other issues. The mirror itself seemed to conjure up Barry's fears and regrets somehow, and may have contributed to his decision to go back in time (which caused Flashpoint.
During the last issue of that first arc and the run-up (heh!) to Flashpoint, there was also some mention made of the damage to the timeline screwing up the future's knowledge of the past. Possibly that's meant to have nullified whatever the mirror supposedly did. Overall, though, it looks like a nascent storyline that was simply lost to the reboot. I never got the sense that Johns had a specific plan for the special mirror weapon in mind, though.
