I dont watch it but those two shows are all he is listed as being a character. I think originally they were going to use Barry more and actually have his origin as the Flash but decided to save that for the beginning of his own show. A wise decision in my opinion.

It will be interesting to see if the show represents his origin from scratch. I expect the style and tone will be similar to Arrow, but the nature of his power is going to necessitate a much more fantastical touch to the threats he deals with.
