An excellent debut for Captain Cold.
Quote:Flash thwarts Leonard Snart from robbing an armored car. Snart later reveals that he knwos police response times and that they had 3 minutes to rob the car before anyone could have arrived, so after seeing footage of the "streak" he decides to step up his game.
Quote:He visits an arms dealer that shows him a freeze gun that he stole from star labs, Snart of course keeps the gun and freezes the arms dealer.
Quote:Back at Star Labs we learn that one of the techs built the freeze gun to counter Barry in case Barry was evil, now justifiably speaking they didn't know Barry at first so one can almost accept the rationale of needing a weapon to stop Barry. However Dr. Wells IS NOT PLEASED AT ALL, and his comments about it do seem to reveal a possible obsession with Barry.
Quote:I shall again postulate the theory that Dr Wells is in fact Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash.
Quote:Felicity Smoak shows up and she is smoking hot. She is makes a nice easter egg reference to the Crisis on Infinite Earths when she asks if Barry could run too fast and turn to dust.....
Quote:Barry and Felicity part as friends and almost as lovers. Time will tell.
Quote:Captain Cold escapes with the gun and at the end he is speaking to someone unseen that is constantly lighting matches and shows the person what appears to be a heat ray and asks him if he wants to team up, thus begins the Rogues Gallery.
For the whole episode I was wondering who was playing Captain Cold. I knew that I knew the actor but didn't know from where. So I looked it up, and he's the guy from Prison Break.
This episode was a great illustration of how Felicity would be great as a regular on this show! Can't she just be on both?
