Quote:So while someone below has posted that it could be all misdirection and that Wells is NOT Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash, I think, given the end of this episode that we must seriously entertain the idea that Wells is Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom, the Reverse Flash. He just learns the case is reopened and then Iris' Dad gets a very serious warning to back off the case.
This episode made me think that it isn't Wells because if Wells is Professor Zoom then he is not very smart.
Joe spent the whole episode grilling Wells and then he gets a warning from Zoom. That would make me doubly suspicious of Wells. So, not really an effective warning. It would have been better for Zoom to do nothing and hope Joe was convinced Wells was innocent.
However, if Wells is not Zoom then the warning was effective because the warning made it seem like Wells is Zoom.
As to the rest of the episode. Why the heck did Barry show the villain who he is? I mean I know the guy is in the Meta-human jail, but villains have a way of getting out of jails in comics. So know when that guy gets out he knows who Barry is and has a serious advantage.
Yes, he spent the ep grilling Wells, but unless Joe begins to suspect that Wells is faking his need for the wheel chair, he isn't going to think that Wells attacked him as Reverse Flash.
