Possibly so, one additional problem is that the series has no clear format by which to promote and sell it, but to DC/Warner's favour they will at least get to introduce and try out these new characters as a test run to future outings.
Given the success of The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, I don't imagine the reception to this series will be a bad one, so as one more entry into their television expansion it will be a very worthwhile investment as it gets these characters out there and shows potential future producers what is possible with them. \(beret\)

That is indeed true. Rumor suggests that Ray Palmer AKA The Atom was getting his own solo series. If that rumor is true, it obviously didn't pan out. So, maybe Legends will be able to tell if his character will become popular enough to get his own solo series after Legends ends.

I'm not expecting any more solo series.

Legends of Tomorrow is an experiment/miniseries and I think it will only have half the episodes a typical Flash or Arrow season has.

Then there is the highly popular Sara Lance character. I don't think a solo series is necessary but we could see one with her as the star.

Captain Cold and Heatwave, no way do they get a series. Don't see it. They are popular characters, true, but just...no way do they get a series.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl: I can this becoming a series if these characters become popular enough.

    Quote:
This is all assuming any of these characters even survive in the run of Legends of Tomorrow. The writers/producers have said that some of these characters could die and if that's true, that could close off any potential future series about them.

    Quote:
Then again, none of these characters could get a solo series. We simply don't know, but the possibility is there.

I don't think anyone else will get a new series. They have so many characters they can pull of a limited series with some of the minor characters. But no one stands out enough to support their own series. And no one should. Two series is great. Two series and a miniseries that links to both is even better. But three ongoing series is really pushing it.

If I had a vote, my vote goes to Ray Palmer AKA the Atom.
