    End of episode.

So "Jay" was a time remnant of ZOOM.....interesting, yet if he really is a PAST version of ZOOM, then shouldn't killing him have negated ZOOM?

Even by this shows standards that is impossible - look to Eddie Thawne for a loose precedent. Thinking on it though we have seen when Barry travels to his past he has somehow replaced/overwritten his past self in the timeline, but what Zoom claims to have done is fished out his past self and brought him forward in time... to preetend to be Jay Garrick? Curious that this past-self appears to have no evil impulses as Zoom has then.

I am skeptical any of this is the truth. It is too far fetched and illogical, even for this show.

We still do not know for sure who the man in the iron mask is, but if it isn't Jay...well that would be a disappointment.

I don't see who else it could be, who could carry the shock value and remain logical within the context of the storyline. As with Zoom's secret the writers have played it loose for the series in such a way that a last minute decision to change the reveal is optional. I hope they don't deviate from their original candidate as that would be a cheat to the audience and probobly work to undermine the storyline.

ZOOM can sense when portals are opened but can't seem to open them.

ZOOM also states he isn't fast enough to leave a speed image behind yet he could time warp to past version of himself????

It might be something that depends on the context. Though given Zoom is surely faster than Reverse-Flash, who did just this, and Barry, who did it against Doctor Light. Perhaps the point is that a speedster can only do this trick for a brief time, not the hours that 'Jay' waas present.
Really this whole reveal misses the obvious easy option of Zoom himself simply hiding as 'Jay' to infiltrate Team-Flash in favour of something so convoluted as to be near nonsense...

So anyone else think that Barry's powering down is temporary? he's been charged with speed force and tachyons and they recharged him back in season 1 when he was drained. Or are we going to get the drama of them trying to steal it back from ZOOM?

I expect the latter, it makes for better drama and shows Barry was too reliant on the tachyon boost, when he should have relied on his own grit and ingenuity to defeat the superior foe. Being powerless will allow him to redeem himself on this front and teach him the lesson that all he needs is Barry Allen, not super-speed.
