The guy in the mask is Eddie. They set us up to think it was the real Jay when there was never a real Jay. Maybe in a later season we'll see a heroic Jay on an Earth-3 but Earth-1 and Earth-2 don't have a Jay.

I REALLY hope you're wrong about it being Eddie only because I can't stand the actor that plays him.

I can't either. His voice is just so mincing. Maybe it's Ronnie \:\)

But they are totally setting it up because Iris admited to liking Barry again, so Eddie will be back and throw a wrench in that again. UGH! UGH! UGH! ::Bangs head against wall::

I can't say I want to be right...but in my head I've always felt the guy in the mask is either Eddie or the real Jay and the recent episode leaves me the impression there was never a real Jay to begin with.

I don't even want Iris and Barry together, but neither of them will ever move on unless they get together and realize they aren't actually meant to be.

I'm fine with them being together...in the last season. Heck I'm fine with them sleeping together and then breaking up sometime later.

But I've always felt he should sleep with Caitlin at some point. She's totally got that female friend that's always been there for the protagonist that turns into a love interest in a later season thing going for her.

So basically I feel he should have slept with Patty, Iris, Caitlin and then Iris again. (yes I totally overthought it)

He also should have squeezed Felicity in there at some point O_o
