Quote:I'm so glad you brought this up because it was something I struggled with during Reverse Flash and Barry's conversation in the season premiere.
The world Reverse Flash created prior to season 1 is a fiction just like the Flashpoint timeline(s).
Also, There is the problem of the suicide of Eddie Thawne.
It is an impossible fact.
If Eddie kills himself, then the Reverse Flash was never born, he never had met the Flash, he never had killed Nora, he never had met Eddie and, thus, Eddie wouldn't have needed to kill himself.
The spacetime continuum was broken, back then, because of Eobard Thawne who was responsible of his own fate.
The only way to restore the reality would have been to erase both Eddie Thawne & Eobard Thawne of the timeline ... Thus, creating a new reality with Nora alive and a Barry without his Flash powers yet.
The wormhole to "Earth-2" never restored the incoherence of Nora's death by someone who was erased from reality.
So, neither Barry nor Reverse Flash ever restored or fixed anything after that.
Reverse Flash has become an impossible character without a past.
The death of Nora isn't logical and shouldn't be "fixed" by anyone.
Also, I don't see why the spacetime continuum should work like a moral compass or a "karma balance" and why, when Barry had a better life in the Flashpoint timeline, people around him should have had a worse one. It doesn't make any sense at all.
