Okay, didn't anyone else watch it?

It was definitely UNDERWHELMING!

AV Club reviewer called it "Waiting for Grodd."

It was like 40 minutes of trying to find the Gorilla army. Um...wouldn't people see a Gorrilla army walking down the street and not hiding?

And when we did see him it was fun seeing the two gorillas fight but after such a long wait, I wanted more of an all out battle.

What was actually good?

Seeing Harry again. His speech to Barry that he regrets the times he's killed and that Barry is an example to him. Why oh why have we had HR most of this season instead of Harry?

HR did get a good line in about as the philosopher Al Yankovic said.

Jeese at the end of the episode choosing Big Belly Burgers over sex. Man that's cold! And she didn't like Casablanca. That's two strikes lady!

Cisco flirting with Gypsy. However, I really hope after all the flirting and the kissing that she is NOT an Earth 19 version of Cisco as some have previously speculated.

Next episode we FINALLY get back to Savitar. I hate how these shows lose focus.

Good episode, could have been better.

But I wasn't expecting an epic battle with the Flashes and the cops vs. an army of gorillas, TV Budget being what it is.

I did expect the return of Solivar and that he would reclaim leadership.

As to Wells2 vs. Wells19, well part of it is that Wells2 is not short on arrogance. Remember in Season 2 when Cisco said "Our Wells was evil but you're just a ----". Well that still seems to be true for Wells2 at times. much as he wants to keep his daughter with him, I wonder about that comment he made about not being in the best of health. Was he telling the truth? OR was he really trying to trick Wally and Jesse?

As to why we've had Wells19 instead of Wells2, well it is a refreshing change of pace and it forces Team Flash to use their own intelligence instead of looking to a "super" genius like Wells2.

Now Savitar is back it seems, however given he too is a super speedster, here's a question: is this the Savitar that was hurled into the speed force, or a past version of Savitar? Remember, time travel has been a key component for sometime on the series.

Also that last scene in this episode might explain why Wally is not around in the scene where Iris is killed. \:\) unless he and Jesse decide to go to Earth 2 to live there.

So the Gorilla attack was thwarted just as it started and the city is safe thus a future headline should be changed up a bit.

However if they want to keep Iris safe they could just sent her to Earth 2, just not to Gorilla City ;\)
