My trouble feeling excitement for this stuff anymore was perhaps a tad vague, my error.

I referred to my overall lack of excitement now over the whole sci-fi/super-hero thing anymore.

Star Wars 7 meant nothing more to me then basically a redo of EP 4

I had the same feeling. BUT I liked Rogue One. The fact that all the new characters all died and they didn't attempt to wiggle out of that helped.

    The Star Trek reboots.....meh.

I think the new Star Trek Discovery is interesting (originally I was quick to balk at it). It's not classic Trek by any metric but I'm liking it for being serialized. It seems more BSG or Babylon 5 than Trek.

    The Arrowverse of TV shows.......meh

I'm kind of hoping Arrow ends with season 7 and then Flash ends the following year. This franchise shouldn't go on forever.

Never liked it. Not even a little. Bruce and Alfred are the worst parts of the show.

The Marvel MCU: just release infinity war and be done with it.

I want to see the movies for the characters who don't have one yet (Black Panther, Captain Marvel) but I'm not invested after that.

    DC Movies: meh.

Marvel/DC Comics: constant reboots, continuity warps, Mephisto Mindwipes, and editorial staff approving stupid SJW crap that alienates the fans.

I still don't get how Marvel is run by Ike Perlmutter a racist and a sexist and yet still panders to social justice warrior crap.

    Just not feeling it.
