Melting point was derived from the fact that he basically melts away the meta DNA and transfers it.

Yeah.....teh fire meta should have been called that.

Also....they missed a GREAT opportunity here. Jax, the surviving half of Firestorm is back in the present.  They could have checked with him and if he was willing he could have received the fire powers from the meta.

I sincerely doubt Devoe would have calculated for that.

But then I hear Jax should be appearing in Legends again and receive the magic fire totem.
