Because now, in every single episode, whenever a villain shows up all Barry has to do is move into 'flashtime' and the villain is done. Even Devoe is no longer a problem, because he can't think and react at light speed. Barry can EASILY avoid anything Devoe throws at him, dismantle his chair and hit him a few hundred times in a second.

It's the end of all dramatic tension in the show.

Or, a massive plot hole in every upcoming episode.
