So I decided to check out Flash #50 since it was advertised as the end of the Flash Wars that been getting a lot of publicity lately. After reading it, I went to this message board and found nothing for the last five issues except a thread from #49 about whether the age-old "Flash/Superman: who's faster?" question had finally been answered - which appears to have little to do with the current story.

So is it just that the TV series is so interesting compared to the comic, or is the comic storyline not worth talking much about? Thanks!

I have reviewed the book occasionally, I'm just behind on my reading!

I'm not particularly a fan of the current status-quo of Wally and Barry so seeing the two at war does not a lot for me. I think on balance it was a mistake to bring Wally back, he fits with the Titans line up Dan Abnett reintroduced yes, but with a new younger Wally West and Barry Allen as The Flash older Wally is surplus to any requirements, beyond the Titans book that is. Make no mistake - I think Wally is the by far better character over Barry, but DC have strong commercial reasons for backing Barry and Wally will therefore never really be able to be treated with the due he actually deserves in the DCU. He's sort of become the 'Captain Marvel' to Superman... doomed always to be in that deep shadow and kept from reaching what is his potential in the DCU.
