Subj: I prefered Johns & Kolins' Rogues. Other than that, I think that the 2 runs were both ok.

I liked the Waid stuff better.

Geoff Johns' stroke of genius was his excellent portrayal of the Rogues.

Other than that, the book was like a Marvel book happening in the DC Universe. Zoom (Hunter) was reinvented as the equivalent of Venom for Wally West. Wally & Linda reminded me Peter Parker & MJ. A lot of supporting characters were added to the book. Goldface reminded me the Molten Man and Sandman (back when he was reformed).

Waid is as good a writer as Johns. He "invented" the Speed Force which became an important aspect of the Flash book.
