That's a good question. I would imagine so, as this was from 1960 and a lot of the later peplums recycled old props. But I havent seen it before (I admit I havent watched as many of the fantasy peplums as the historical ones.)
It's clear they were pretty proud of it and its probably the best monster prop Ive seen in one of these. I just get a kick out of how careful the actors were not to really damage it.
