Yeah I started watching Thunderdome but got interrupted and haven't got back to it yet. Two quick thoughts: I always thought the biggest problem was that it was too similar to Road Warrior but now I see it's different in a lot of ways. Second, wow the memories, I watched the hell out of this one as a kid but I haven't seen it in a long time.

I don't know that I hate Fury Road but I sure didn't love it as much as everyone else seemed to. After rewatching Road Warrior I could really do without the extra flourishes of Fury Road.

I am generally shocked at how many people liked Fury road. It was like they all got seduced by the action and didnt stop and notice that it was basically a parody of the Road Warrior, like Miller was cruelly mocking himself (like when the guitar player shot flames from his guitar).

Ill wait for you review on Thunderdome to comment in depth, but one of the things I liked about it was that it wasnt just a copy of Road Warrior but tried to tell a seperate story and further develop the mad max world.
