Subj: I think I know what DC is trying to do here! Posted: Fri Aug 01, 2008 at 01:04:25 am EDT (Viewed 433 times) | Reply Subj: JSA Annual #1 brief summary and comments Posted: Wed Jul 30, 2008 at 02:28:58 pm EDT
I think what DC is doing is trying to please everyone and that for once is really great. Like how they did the LSH. They have all the realities of that team exist on different worlds. I think that DC is doing this with our variations of Earths. You want Precrisis JSA characters from Earth 2. Blam! There you have it, an Earth with all your favorite heroes from Precrisis Earth 2. I think that is why we have two Powergirls. The one is the actual Powergirl that now belongs to our new Earth 2 that is our old precrisis JSA team. The Powergirl we know is probably from an actual doomed world that was wiped out of existance. Our Powergirl really thought she was home until the real one showed up. This proves the theory because Fury mentions that she is going to have a talk with her mother. So, you can bet Earth 2 Superman is not actually dead!! Not sure how long they are going to keep the variations of different Earths but if it pleases the fans, I have a feeling we are going to have have lots of Earths to create and have different stories with our favorite past time or modern heroes. It really is about the fans. We tried having one Earth and it got kind of boring because we had to bringing on a million writers and, REBOOT! REBOOT! REBOOT! Now, we can have best of both worlds. I think his is what DC is finally doing. Trying to have their cake and eat it to. My two cents. Red Forman
