Spectre was there? Wouldn't he had stopped the Gang by himself?

I didn't see the Spectre during the JSA/ISA fight. He was present during the Crisis CW crossover. But will they revisit that character so soon or give us Fate or GL or Thunderbolt instead if they need a big gun? Or will they leave the big guns out of it and let Stargirl do it all?
