The Planet Hulk story line is as good as any tale from the Bronze Age, even the one it echoes but doesn't ape, that of Jarella.

Any tale from the Bronze Age.

I know no higher praise. I can't believe I've written what I've written. But I have written it.

Beyond recommended.

If you don't read this, at least in TPB format, you have deliberately rejected the chance to experience one of the defining milestones of the Hulk, of Marvel, of the comics industry as a whole.

If a new age is dawning in our industry, then it shall be known as the Emerald Age, for the Hulk will have been its herald.

As God is my witness - this is Shakespeare and Michelangelo. This, I swear by all that is true and compelling on the earth, is a masterpiece.

Bucky

I felt that the latest issue will eventually be regarded as a major turning point for the character. While I've enjoyed this saga I felt that it dragged a bit in them middle. Now it's back to the high standards it set earlier.

While my praise doesn't quite equal yours I do admit that it is a tremendous tale and I've enjoyed it quite a bit.

There have been many legendary feats of strength in the Hulk's history(holding up a mountain in Secret Wars, cracking Onslaught's armor, etc.) and the latest issue adds another to that list. Great issue.
