I could swear I've seen Doctor Doom do this - but I can't put my finger on exactly when. :/

Loki, too, I think - but again I'm drawing a blank. Loki surely has done it. But when?

I think it's a good premise for a mini-series. The heroes are neutralized somehow and a world threatening menace attacks. Use something other than Galactus since he's had his quota of appearances for the next few years. (With Galactus, less is more.)

Oh wait - I just realized why Galactus has popped up so much. Silly me. \:\)

A certain movie approaches...

Any way, regardless, a good premise for a mini-series.

Would the Overmind Saga be such a case?

When Surtur attacked Asgard during Simonson's run on Thor?
