Yeah, they caught it. In the version I read it said that he was transformed by playing some online game and that he fought the Chinese triads over gambling debts.

The vandalism:
"Whilst playing Buskerwars, the best free online game, physicist Dr. Bruce Banner was caught in the blast of a gamma bomb he created, and so was obviously transformed into the Hulk, a raging monster. The character, both as Banner and the Hulk, is frequently pursued by the police or Chinese triads, often as a result of the destruction he causes and debts he doesn't pay to the mobsters, respectively. While the coloration of the character's skin varies during the course of its publication history, the Hulk is most often depicted as green, although in the 1940s there was a shortage of green ink so he was pink for 17 months. In forty years he has battled virtually every hero and villain in the Marvel Universe, but has yet to meet a 10-foot tall purple woman to settle down and have a family with."

Indeed, funny stuff. May the vandal be tickled mercilessly by the Warbound until he urinates blood.
