I've heard some good things about the Captain Marvel mini so I may pick up the first 3 issues this week since it's a light week for me. But then again, maybe not. I have no plans of getting sucked into Invasion so perhaps avoiding so critical a lead-in is best. Sounds intriguing though.

Magneto is back though. He popped up at the end of an Uncanny X-Men arc involving diaries written by some QWERTY character. He's also going to be in Carey's X-Men. It looks like Exodus is still loyal to him despite teaming up with the Marauders for a while.

I may be wrong about this but isn't the whole "plucked out of time" theory just a Reed/Stark theory? They could be wrong. I hope he does turn out to be a Skrull. There are just some characters that should stay dead.

According to CIVIL WAR: THE RETURN, Mar-Vell was pulled through time due to some after-effect caused by Reed/Pym attempting to create a portal in the Negative Zone in which to transport Anti-SHRA prisoners.
