Reply Subj: It's Mighty Avengers For Me Instead...Red Hulk Too [SPOILERS]

What I see here doesn't interest me in the least--the art is 'nice,' but not what I want to see in a hero comic.

On the other hand, I really enjoyed yesterday's Mighty Avengers. The Bagley art was great (I'm very sorry he's leaving), and the book was much more in the Avengers tradition.

It actually felt like an Avengers title, though there wasn't a lot of story; but at least it wasn't Dr. Doom standing around in the rain talking like a blowhard.

In fact, I's say this was the best issue of MA or NA so far.

Even the opening segment with Morgan Le Fay was very well done.

The Red Hulk book was another winner. I'm interested to see what the hell is really going on here, especially since the Red Hulk seems to be in 2 places at once, and has hands the size of, well, automobiles in the scene in which he attacks She-Hulk.

But..the Abomination being killed by a super bullet to the head? That I don't buy.

He's the Abomination, for chrisakes, not the Ringmaster or Mentallo.

But I love this title so far. Loeb's doing a great job. I recommend it to everyone, and Loeb even makes IM likeable enough.

Is the Red Hulk a skrull? I hope not.

But Rick Jones is the new Abomination!

I don't plan on picking this up but I do think that based on preview pages I saw that Bendis might want to realize that Doom does attempt to be a bit more verbose than "Damn!" and "Damn It!".

Saw that in preview pages. Based on his quick defeat of Shulky, can anyone stop this guy? I know Red and Green are scheduled to tangle in a couple of issues and it will be interesting to see who wins that one. I have a feeling that Red will be top dog at least for a while.

Abombination doesn't get a lot of love lately. I recently read his first appearance back in Tales to Astonish and he got a clean win over the Hulk the first time out. I know a lot has changed since then but if SHIELD has guns that can poke holes in a creature like the Abombination where were they during WWH? Did they address the fact that the Abombination was part of Project Achilles and was suppossed to be controlled by SHIELD nanite-tech?

I liked Slott's She-Hulk but didn't care for the fact that she took Abombination down pretty easily. He didn't even lay a hand on her if I recall correctly. Villains of this caliber should be handled more consistently.

I'm thinking about it despite swearing off Hulk a few months ago.

Do you think, as I've seen posted on various message boards, that Samson is the number on suspect for being Red Hulk.

What's up with that? Everyone in the Hulk's extended cast is Hulking out!
