> I'm assuming he's not, but might he be? Some people have suggested that Thunderbolt Ross is the Red Hulk, others Doc Samson. We do know that the new Abomination is Rick Jones....poor Rick, what a checkered career!
I have been 90% sure it's Samson since the first ish. If it's someone else, kudos to Loeb for fooling me.

> Anyone wanna come up with a good reason why the Red Hulk is or isn't BB?
Can't think of a reason why he definitely ISN'T be. Might just be.

> I'm anxiously awaiting the Red Hulk action figure; if the Red Hulk leaves the title and the standard BB Green Hulk takes over, I'm dropping the book.
Can I just ask why?

> And why does the Red Hulk have such HUGE hands? They're like the size of automobiles. Is he, eh, big all over or was that just perspective?

Ah, McGuinness... \:\)
(actually liking his work on this book more than I have in quite a while)

Check it out: Shu and I (and FLCL) teamed up!

Thanks for chiming in.

I think Pak had a great opportunity with Planet Hulk, which started out well but was overlong in my opinion.

But WWH had nowhere to go from the start---it was just 'Hulk Smash' all over again, and we knew the Hulk was not going to win or take over the planet. So I thought that was very poorly conceived from the start.

Especially when the army attacked the Hulk after the collected heroes tried to stop him and failed...! What a bone-head move on the writer's part.

So at this point I'm attracted to the Raging Red Hulk that reminds me of the Jade Giant from the Bronze Age. Even if the Red Hulk is raging a lot more than the Jade Giant ever did, and is chronically in a much worse mood.

I like the idea of a Red Hulk, that is, a different person altogether being a Hulk, and would like to see where Loeb can take this character.

I think it would be very cool to eventually have the 'mindless' or semi-mindless Red Hulk take off for the wilder parts of America and the planet, as the Hulk did during the Bronze Age, and have all sorts of encounters with micro-worlds, Bi-Beasts, Harpies, the Leader, and others, or their equivalents.
