I'm assuming he's not, but might he be? Some people have suggested that Thunderbolt Ross is the Red Hulk, others Doc Samson. We do know that the new Abomination is Rick Jones....poor Rick, what a checkered career!

Anyone wanna come up with a good reason why the Red Hulk is or isn't BB?

I'm anxiously awaiting the Red Hulk action figure; if the Red Hulk leaves the title and the standard BB Green Hulk takes over, I'm dropping the book.

And why does the Red Hulk have such HUGE hands? They're like the size of automobiles. Is he, eh, big all over or was that just perspective?

Who can say? There's clearly a gap between the end of WWH and the debut issue of the red Hulk - perhaps the Hulk somehow "splintered" into multiple beings at some point? Banner is in custody, but different aspects of Hulk's personality have branched into a handful of different Hulks, all of whom are red. It certainly seems like there are 2 different Hulk's in issue 2 - the one in NY attacking SHIELD and almost simultaneously the one bitch slapping Rick in Nevada. I think that Doc Samson is - pardon the pun - a "red" herring in all of this. Of course, another question is how did Rick become Abomination (or A-Bomb, as it was indicated in the book)? Certainly all the mystery makes Hulk interesting to me, but I hope the answers come sooner rather than later. I hate drawn out affairs.
And I have no problems with a red Hulk, as opposed to green. I don't mind the occasional change of appearance. Look at Spidey. Or Iron Man. Or The Captain. Or Thor. Or even gray Hulk. Sometimes these things make for interesting storylines.
So like you, I am enjoying the book, and the mystery.

Just gave that for the most part.

I'm always interested in action figures, so I can appreciate the desire on your part - it's just something i've never dabbled in (at least yet).
I'm just pissed about the relaunching aspect of the series.
Personally - and this is a pet peeve of mine - I detest the practice of ending one series, only to have long running characters relaunched into new series. This story should be in the pages of Incredible Hulk, not in a new series. Unless the plan is to ultimately bring green Hulk back in the first series, but then - if that were true, then why wouldn't red Hulk's book only be a mini? I think the intention was to try to keep one title going with Hercules, rather than cancel it - thus hanging onto fans of the book and then give a creator the feeling of being on the ground floor with a new number one. I hate that. Firstly, number ones no longer hold any meaning for me, and I dont know why creators are lulled by the promise of one. Secondly, I prefer the sense of history and accomplishment that comes with reading an original series. Imagine when Action Comics 1000 comes out. How huge an event will that be? Marvel is dropping the ball with these renumberings and relaunchings. And watch, IM Director of SHIELD will likely give way to Nick Fury after SI ends. Someone else called that earlier on this board, and it just makes too much sense.

That's all artist. At least it looks good.
