It's fun and all, but Frank Miller did a good job of it, and Millar's Authority did it. JMS' Supreme Power gave it to us, too. It's pretty much done for me. But some folks like it more than others so it's good there's an option. If I want that entertainment I just pop in a Tarantino movie \:\) Classic Super-Heroes are pretty much only in the comics with a couple movie attempts. The hard core brutal reality of dangerous psychopathic people can be found everywhere.
