Once I buy the new Handbook tomorrow, I'll pick up the DD series you recommend so I can get the full picture. My store in times Square gives us $20 in free purchases for every $100 we spend over time, so when I get my $20 credit, I'll pick up the first DD arc.

Thanks for your time and effort---you know I love the Gladiator and Mr. Fear.

I'm not looking forward to Alex Maleev on 2 issues of Mighty Avengers after Bagley leaves...what a tragedy THAT is.

Does anyone know who the 'permenant' MA artist will be?

I finished rereading Joe Kelly's take on Mr. Fear from DD#366-375 and enjoyed it even more now that Brubaker brought Mr. Fear/Larry Cranston back. Both Kelly and Brubaker employed Mr. Fear quite well. The motives against DD was the same and even the method of using DD's current paramour (Karen Page back then, Milla Donovan now) was the same as well. Both plots were well thought out and manipulative, very behind the scenes, and the Gladiator was used for both, although the Gladiator used the first time was another guy (Potter had been retired/reformed at the time, I think.)

I think Khoi Pham (spelling) is the new MA artist after Maleev.
