Medium: An art form in general ( television, movies, novels, comic books in general )

Genre: A specific category of fiction with a characteristic form ( Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Western, etc. )

Subgenre: An even more specific genre within a genre ( Superheroes )

Not all comics, or even all superheroes, require " wonder ".
