Great thanks for the help! \:\-\) Still, I have some questions...

> Hulk is fixing to rampage and radiating massive amounts of gamma radiation

Is there a specific reason given for Hulk's power-up, or is it only because Hulk got really angry about everything what happened?

> Then across the universe, on the now-desolate Sakaar, we see a long-haired, green-skinned figure rise from the muck. Enter: Skaar, Son of Hulk.

Yeah, what was that about? Do we know something about this character? Is Marvel planning a spin-off book with him, or something like that?

First off, Miek is still alive. The Hulk and Brood just badly injured him. Currently he is a prisoner in some SHIELD base giving information about the Warbound to help SHIELD capture them.

It is hard to tell, but from what I could gather the Hulk was having a mental breakdown. His best friend from Sakaar betrayed him by following the Hulk's lesson to its logial end. On Sakaar Hulk drilled it into Miek to "never stop making them pay." So, Miek being unable to live in peace or cope with the idea of the Reds to be spared let him to betray the Hulk since to Miek the Hulk existed merely to destroy. The Hulk also realized that Miek betrayal cost him the life of his "other" best friend Rick Jones (at the time they thought he was dead). Finally, it proved that what the Illuminati had been telling the Hulk all along was correct. So the whole point of the Hulk's invasion was pointless leaving the Hulk morally bankrupt. The whole "righteousness" of his cause was lost and he came across as the same rage-filled brute he is always accuse of and accuased the Illuminati being. The Hulk finally snapped and several possibiliites happened:

1. The Hulk reached his maximum level of rage. His best friend (Miek) caused the Hulk to loose everything he cared about (Sakaary, Caira, unborn child, Rick Jones, etc.), played him for a fool, and made his own invasion pointless and him (the hulk) to be the monster the Illuminati were right to fear. The Hulk's strength increase to its maximum level and he could no longer control his rage due to his mind collapsing.

2. The Hulk went into meltdown. The Hulk has been sometimes compared to a type of nuclear reactor who emits gamma radiation. Normally, the Hulk has some semblence of a mind to control it, but with his mind unabl to cope with his level of rage his power was simply leaking out.

A mini about him written by Pak has been in talks for months, but as far as I know nothing has been confirmed yet. Considering how everything on Sakaar is supposed to be dead or evacuated I don't really see how a story could be told. What reason would anyone have to return? For that matter there is the problem of how the kid even survived. If the story is told I hope it isn't another "immortal" healing factor.
