I have them in polybags with backing board and in boxes. The basement they are being stored in is slightly moist. Will this be enough protection or is there something else I could use? G-Man, My comics were stored in the same way. I lived some very humid summers in Wisconsin and Michigan with them, and my comics were no worse for wear. I have to emphasize that the flaps of the comics were taped over to "close" the bag. If you keep the tops of the bags open, you might as well not use bags at all. If you have concerns over the moisture level in your basement, I'd suggest getting a small dehumidifier to put down there. You'll have to empty its bucket every couple days, but if you freqently go down there then that's no big deal. That said, I suspect you'll be fine w/o the dehumidifier as long as the bags are closed. If you find that your storage boxes are drawing a little damp, then get the dehumidifier. My $0.02. Ohotmu | |||||||
