What I find funny is that when Marvel introduced Ben and hinted that he was the "real" Spiderman part of their rationale was " the real Peter would never make a deal with Venom", "the real Peter would never go all dark and 'I am Spider'", etc.

Now they might as well bring back Ben and the Gwen clone, reveal them to be the real deals and have clone-devil-dealing Pete and MJ plus clone-Norman-sleeping Gwen all go to blazes.
