I did like the way they tied Captain Britain's existence to the idea that Avalon is Britain's colective unconscious. The scene where the citizens felt Brian die were very touching. Maybe that's how Brian will survive, being reformed because the people of Britain need their Captain back.

I don't think it's a big deal. I mean, it's not as if Brian Braddock hasn't been dead before.

(as far as replacing him ... we already tried that with Kelsey Leigh ... I just don't see the point of completely redoing that storyline unless you want to wind up with a CB equivalent of the Thor Corp, which is already redundant given the zillion Corp members who already exist across the multiverse.)
