> HULK: RAGING THUNDER #1: I enjoyed this one-shot issue. It was a Thundra tale for sure, although it was narrated by hers and the Hulk's daughter (not sure I like this new character yet or not). I'm glad Thundra was finally brought back, although I'm not sure when the story takes place. Arkon is nowhere to be found, and who knows about when the story takes place for the Hulk. Still, I enjoyed this issue, and I also enjoyed the reprint of FF #133, which I never read until now.

Thundra is a terrific character. Like some other female characters I could name, she got linked in the publisher's mind with a particular male character, in her case Arkon, and she ceased to have an indepentent destiny, while the duo of which she was a part went nowhere, in this case primarily because Arkon is utterly uninteresting, hence my reaction: If Arkon is gone from Thundra's story, good riddance!

Raging Thunder was a fun story that got us back to the original concept of Thundra. With or without the daughter, I hope to see Thundra again soon! Raging Thunder had time travel elements, so we could easily have new stories that take place at various points in the time line of Thundra's life, such as before the birth of the daughter.
