> Another reason for me not to like SI, I guess. Retconning one of my all time favorite Avengers and Marvel Heroes. And if the Pym in Beyond was a Skrull (or anyone else there for that matter)that makes the Stranger look pretty sad as a cosmic entity not being able to tell the difference. Then again they were from different times and that looked like 80's WCA Pym so it could have been the real deal (I thought McDuffie said it WAS the real Hank?)

No, Hank makes reference to London, which is where Pym was swapped.
> Despite the Jan-Slapping (is it going back THAT far??) I've always thought Hank was a great Marvel Style character. He's always striving to be greater than the sum of his flaws, his keen intellect keeping him on par with Gods and Gamma/Cosmic Ray spawned superhumans. That and Yellowjacket's one of the most visually perfect identities ever to grace comics in my opinion.

Having a couple score primary replacements in place to help a non-aggressive takeover of the planet would be easier and more intellgent.. if not less exciting. Why duplicate 'Elektra' when you can do Reed/Stark/Thor/Cap/ and a few world leaders? Non-sensical)

Pym was swapped around the time of New Avengers 1. We don't know if he was killed or not. They didn't duplicate Thor because he was dead until recently. They didn't duplicate Reed and Tony because Veranke wants revenge on them for saving Galactus, which resulted in Galactus destroying Throneworld and killing her relatives.
