> Who's your favorite writers and the writers at Marvel that you dislike?

Currently, or ever?

Currently, I'm a fan of Slott, Gage, DnA, Reed, Cebulski, Oeming, Brubaker, and Fraction. My absolute favorite, of course, is Jeff Parker.

I'm not enjoying the work of Bendis!, Millar, and Austen very much. (Although after picking up a Daredevil collection of Bendis's work at a yard sale last October, I can see where the man got his rep from. That was some good stuff. Also, love his Ares dialogue.)

There are a few writers that are in a weird place for me. PAD's She-Hulk went in a direction that made me drop the title, but, classically, I've enjoyed some of his work on X-Factor. (Never did like his Professor Hulk as much as I'd have suspected I should. I think I love the stupid rampaging Hulk too much to enjoy a green Hulk that isn't.) JMS's Thor is... well, terrible to me, but I'm really loving the Twelve enough to call it my favorite mini published currently. (I also hated his Spider-Man run.) Warren Ellis is someone I've went on record as saying should never be allowed near licensed properties, but his Thunderbolts has been very good. (I also loved his Thor run back pre-Onslaught, but hated his Druid miniseries with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. I think I run hot and cold with his work, really. Never a middle ground.)

Classic Marvel writers I'd like to see back are: Stern, Englehart, Busiek, and Nicieza, all of whom have proven they haven't lost a single step since leaving Marvel elsewhere. I miss Len Kaminski as well.
