AGENTS OF ATLAS will be getting an ongoing series soon. I don't care much, but I know a lot of people loved the previous mini, so good news for you folks!

A slide of War Machine prompted Greg Pak to announce a new War Machine ongoing series, replacing Iron Man: Director of SHIELD after "Secret Invasion" and penciled by Leonard Manco.

I like Leonardo Manco's work very much, so I may check this book out.

The next question concerned - spoiler alert! - Magneto's appearance in this week's Uncanny X-Men #500, and if it related to the character of Xorn. Fraction said he doesn't think the "book has been closed" on Xorn, and more might be revealed, but not by him and not by Brubaker

Lol, Xorn lives on, folks! lol

It looks like INFERNO 2 is coming soon for X-stuff. Back in the day, I liked Inferno....but not enough to see a sequel. Pass. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=17375

Ex-Infernus looks really stupid. I don't see why they have devote an entire mini-series to Magik of all things. If they did, that you'd think someone like Kitty Pryde (who more readers would easily recognize) would deserve her own X-event. But I'm sure it could get a lot worse (Psylocke anyone?). Right now there aren't any tie-ins, which is a good thing but this can all change in the blink of an eye. Marvel Editorial pulled the trigger on Civil War instead of cueing up World War Hulk. Watch them do the exact same thing here.

Initially War Machine looks cool to me. I liked Manco's art on the Doom mini he did several years back. Hopefully he gets a good run of issues on this title. Otherwise Marvel will sub someone in or do an artist by committee (another trend that is starting to tick me off). One thing I'd like to see is more action and less time exploring "the man behind War Machine." Greg Park is also problematic for me as a writer since he seemed to spend more time with flashbacks and filling pages with meaningless dialogue instead of focusing on the action. I'm also wondering what the hell will happened to T. Stark now that his title will be cancelled or will this follow the trend of shifting the title temporarily like Incredible Herc for Incredible Hulk and X-Men Legacy for Adjectiveless X-Men?
