The woman does the Occasional Super-Heroine blog and was a disgruntled DC editorial staffer at one point. I used to read OSH but stopped because of something that annoyed me but I can't recall it anymore. From the personality she shows in her blog, past comics experience, and enthusiasm in an interview I'm cautiously optimistic about this mini. It's not like the neophyte friend of Millar's who was reported to be doing a Doctor Strange mini that seems to have been forgotten since the initial announcement was made.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=17481 is an interviewette with Valerie and the interviewer's use of the subsequently disavowed assertion Cloak and Dagger's powers were from awakened X-genes has me feeling down on the project. I hope the writer at least knows better.
