GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #13: I love this title, and I really like Brad Walker's artwork. For those who don't know, Brad is the regular artist now, with that other guy only filling in for the last two bi-weekly issues. Anyway, this team's roster is huge now, but I'm glad Moondragon is back and on board. The WAR OF KINGS begins for the Guardians big-time, and it was good to see Polaris and Havok again, since I don't buy any X-titles anymore. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.
I like what they are doing. It has surprisingly good artwork for this type of nonmainstream title.

MIGHTY AVENGERS #24: I don't know about everyone else, but I'm super-glad that Loki is posing as Wanda, leaving my girl free of Slott-ness. Quesada has stated numerous times that Heinberg will be the one to bring Wanda back, so I figured Slott wouldn't be the one to do it. And I was right. Despite all the inane "jokes", overwhelming dialogue and pointless Slott cameos (like Swarm and Titan), I still liked the book. It does have a classic Avengers feel to it, and I like the line-up. I may be skipping the next two issues, though. No one wants to see the Avengers fight the FF except for Slott and his drones. CIVIL WAR is over, dude.
Slott tends to be rather hit or miss. He can do great work and character moments with respect for history, but at the same time he has examples of doing the opposite. I may keep reading it. So far I at least like it better then Bendis' take. Bendis is a good writer, but he tends not to be able to handle things above street level that well.
