I already posted this at the DCU MB.
Here's an interesting article at Newsarama's blog: http://blog.newsarama.com/2009/04/24/line-by-line-trimming-the-pull-list/
Reading through all the replies to the article, it's noticeable how much the price increase has influenced on so many readers to start being more selective in what they buy, and start dropping titles.
In my own case, I always made sure to be careful as to spend too much on comics, so if I drop a title it's mostly based on how entertained I'm being by it, rather than how it costs. I preffer paying more for a title I enjoy rather than paying anything for a title I don't care for. But that's me. How about you?

The prices really just helped push me into the TPB world. My two favorite books, Nova nad GoG I only get in trade form. I really enjoyed the Slott MA start but will get those in trade. The only floppy books I'm getting are the monthly FF and the Dark Reign FF books. Although I miss out on some stuff here and there I find that the short pull list for monthlies lets me collect all types of interesting things in trade form (and using an on-line vendor you can pick them up at half the price of the retail stores)

The only thing that HURTS is waiting for the trade, particularly for things like the War of King story etc. And even though I get the FF books as they come out I'm still collecting them in trade also (except the Millar issues.. just had to say that) because I'm so enamored with the format.
