Quote: Check out http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2009/05/more-on-marvels-price-increases/ for details.Quote: Get ready for the following ongoing titles to join Dark Avengers, Hulk, New Avengers & Thor in the $3.99 cover price in August 2009:Quote: - Ultimate Comics Avengers- Ultimate Comics Spider-Man - Uncanny X-Men - X-Men Forever - The Punisher: Frank Castle Max - Wolverine: Weapon X Quote: Plus 90% of their mini-series will be $3.99.Quote: $2.99 is my cut off point. Any higher and I walk. I made this rule for myself when I signed the mortgage papers to my house. I just can't afford to pay anymore than $2.99 for my house. This list only affects one of the comics I read. Thor. I don't read it anymore. If any of the other Marvel titles rise in price I will not pay it. Simple as that. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I will not be downloading comics off the net either. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way about digital comics. and in time Marvel will see this to be true. | |||||||
