I want to post about how to put together a team of DCU characters that would function as analogues to the characters in Marvels New Avengers... but I can't!

Why is this limitation in place...? Why can't it be lifted? Come on... please do a brother a favor and set the DC board free...

The why is because the moderators at that board set it up that way. I'm guessing because they've had trouble in the past of users misbehaving.

It's standard protocol everywhere but here it seems. They need your info in case your a bad boy and start wars, threaten peoples lives, try to sell stuff etc.

Well the Community, Thor, JLA, Spider-Man, Captain America, and X-Universe boards don't require membership either. I just picked a random sample of boards, and to me it looks like the DCU board is the sole exception.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get an account at the John Byrne message boards. It says you can't use an aol, yahoo, hotmail, etc email address to register...I have NO idea what to use then

When you sign up for internet service, your ISP allows you access to an e-mail account. So if you get internet access from AT&T, your email could be @att.com. I'm guessing a school or work e-mail could also work.

Now the bigger question is why you would want to post at the Bryne board. Any dissenting opinion is easily banned.
