Captain Britain when he first joined Excalibur. Claremont intentionally wrote him as a bimbo and would then play up the supposedly more mature Kitty. Thankfully Alan Davis later revealed he was under a curse at the time to make him clumsy so he would always need the team.

He did the same thing with Dazzler when she first joined the team- he wrote her as a bimbo and played up the supposedly more mature Storm, even though Storm was pretty much a jerk and an idiot during this period.
