sure the sentry is VERY powerful but why is he so feared by all?
can' he be beaten like anyone else?
i mean thor can be beaten and he is almost as powerful, so why him?

Sentry is gonna be more powerful than traditional Thor. But he also has more variety in his powers, like super speed. Sentry is an analouge to Superman power wise, but with none of his weaknesses. And most importantly, Sentry is willing to kill.

Yeah, that seems to be his big hook: he's ridiculously powerful and sometimes crazy and ruthless.

Can he really be beaten? That depends on the story. But being a fairly new and mysterious character, it's impossible to say. And apparently in Dark Avengers, he can never die.

I don't know that Sentry's that mysterious anymore; we know pretty much everything about him as a person by this point.

What's mysterious is the extent of his power level, and even there, the mystery is more in terms of whether he's genuinely omnipotent or just very, very close to it.

Sentry is a great character when used properly. But the execution of the character hasn't been great, writing him out of pivotal battles for instance.

The problem is that Sentry, used properly, tends to reduce all other characters to irrelevance as far as plotting goes. Unless he's the menace, it's fairly hard to plot coherent stories around him involving other heroes.
