Quote:Still seems inconsistent. Wouldnt it be as easy as making someone resubmit info when reapplying for an expired license?
That assumes that the person reapplies. I'm sure there are some registered characters who aren't in the Initiative (working for them), and don't want Norman Osborn having that information. Then again, I can't really name any heroes with a secret identity that work where registered.
Quote:Especially if [online quote:] "Tony had placed a virus in the SHRA database, preventing Osborn from learning the identities of any registered heroes."
I agree that their is a problem with Fraction's current storyline, he simply needs to explain what that information is that Tony is trying to destroy. And why Osborn isn't able to rediscover that information.
Quote:Found it bothersome that Mrs Rhodes (or any non-Native American) was allowed to move onto a Reservation and get a 'get out of jail free card' simply by moving onto a reservation as seen in WM#6.
It's basically like entering a foreign country. If you commit a crime in the US and flee to Mexico, Mexican authorities can still arrest you and extradite you to the US. So in theory, the reservation police can arrest Ms. Rhodes and send her back to the US. Reservations aren't a "safe zone" where a person becomes untouchable. I'm not sure why Ms. Rhodes is hiding on the reservation as I don't read War Machine, but if she had a committed a serious crime, the reservation should have extradited her to the US.
Quote:Sidebar: Does anyone know how many official Indian Reservations there are in the USA?
Apparently 310 according to Wikipedia.
Quote:Would be nice to get an official list/reasons which heroes were exempt training. That MK arc tried to touch on that in Marc's case.
They should have really done a handbook for the SHRA a while ago. List of registered heroes, which heroes had to do training, what registering entails, what are the options in terms of registering, which heroes are on which state teams, etc.
Quote:Another bothersome point for months now, is the salary you mention; have still seen no instory reference (re)confirmation if Initiative paid a salary to any Registered heroes yet. And the related aspects/conditions. Jackpot's 616 existence was in question for me at the time Mrs Rogers was introduced.
We have characters with no source of income/regular job that have money, like Tigra. Being on a state team seems to imply a full time job, and therefore a salary, similar to how the military gets paid. I'm guessing if you are assigned a territory, you get a salary.

It seems fairly obvious to me: Tony has deleted ALL records the federal government has on the SHRA database. The ONLY copy of it still in existence is in Stark's own memory. While Norman could rediscover that information by reassembling the database, it's a safe bet that many of the heroes on it would refuse to participate. Norman's apparently not legally allowed to know any of the information on a hero's secret ID without a warrant... his attempt to hack the database was what released Tony's purging virus, which destroyed all the government's records on the SHRA. Basically, it's got Norman starting over again from scratch.
