I dont agree with the concept of this poll at all. I see enough of this nonsense in the world already, positively discriminating in the interests of 'diversity'. I see plenty of this in my workplace and dont want it associated with my comics.

Can you imagine the uproar there would be if someone started a poll asking which white character should receive a push and stipulated that ethnic characters would not be considered? This is just as offensive and just as nonsical.

As far as I can see Marvel has done a pretty good job in recent years of promoting a number of ethnic minority characters such as the Black Panther and Luke Cage to name but two that I enjoy reading and theyve managed to do this without playing up on the fact that they are ethnic minorities and also moved away from painting these characters in the broad stereotypes that they used to.

Why must there be this push for empty diversity and false p/c. Do not fill a slot in the roster of a team because you are filling an ethnic quota system, but because you have an interesting and well writen story. There ethnicity should not be more important that who they are as a character.
