Why present Robbins as so clean cut on the cover?

    Quote:
Because he does have some good in him. And I guess, no mater how bad a man may be, man vs Doramammu makes anyone look clean-cut.

Ha! Good one. \:\)

That was odd as MdmMasque was the only seen member of SOE for so long and AFAIK he has done no other oggling. 'The Hood's weak spot is women'? Since when??!

    Quote:
He was constantly having sex with that prostitute in the original The Hood mini.

Forgot about her! (Any good in him is shades at best - possible pun in there.)

I think the NA arc takes place AFTER this. Usually these character focused minis are a bit behind on the major story arcs of the big books. I remember Namor's mini being slightly off at the time too, but it made sense in the end.

Probably. It maaay make sense ifff ever footnoted in-place, in-story buuut still takes more away from the story experience, than adding to it, at the time of reading - so worth griping about, right?

How does this appearance fit smoothly with Controllers stint in IM?

    This mini, then Iron Man/NA

How does this appearance fit smoothly with Mr Fears stint in DD?

    Quote:
It's a different Mr. Fear. The one fighting Daredevil was also fighting against the Hood's gang, and is still in Ryker's.

    Quote:
This one in the Hood's gang is like...Fear #4. I don't even think he's been a Daredevil villain.

    Controller was in Amazing Spider-Man?

OOPS, cut&past last 3 sentences and forgot to switch this one to Shocker (in ASM).

Hood's whole thing is to instill respect thru fear but he isnt he being too publically sensitive about being thought of as a demon here despite this storyline where he is apparently trying to purge Dormy?

    Quote:
He isn't doing respect through fear. He just thinks it'll work better if they all stick together. And for most of these guys, initimidation is what works.

Yeah, you're right, typed respect thinking 'subservience'.
