Reply Subj: Good News. Gives Marvel the financial strength DC has in Warner. Plus USA Disney Comics!

Look at Time-Warner's company DC. It doesn't seem to deter DC from producing quality product nor does there seem a lot of censorship. Just look at titles like "Preacher".

Disney would be wise to leave Marvel as intact as possible. Censorship from Disney would not bode well.

But Disney has "Pirates of the Caribbean"... While not completely grim and gritty, the "Pirates" franchise seems to do what it needs to pretty well. The first movie was actually very good.

So... Is Marvel going to do a pirate comic book? Cool!

Disney is a MAJOR powerhouse internationally and will help Marvel to prosper as Marvel won't have to worry about lagging sales as much.

Plus, Disney has had lots of difficulty keeping its own characters in comics in the USA (though they seem to do fairly well outside the states).

    Both companies gain.

Plus I love seeing Disney characters as Super-Heroes like the attached image I created of the FAB 5 (a la "Fantastic Four")
